Lake George, Huletts Landing

We rented a wonderful house, called "Rivendell" in Huletts Landing area of Lake George. It was fantastic!
The house itself is situated so that it fits perfectly into surrounding nature. The property is huge and included the point(!) itself.
Besides us there were two other couples: Karina & Sasha and Karina & Stan. Kids: Sashka, Mikey, Nick.

We rented a boat for the whole week and were trying just about any water sport there is, but only succeeded with tubing :)

The closest restaurant is about 25 mins away so we decided to cook everything ourselves. So we ate a LOT!

At some point Sashka had a stomachache and we even took him to the hospital - turned out that he was just constipated.
They gave his some laxative so we had to get some extra toilet paper :)

We had a trip to the miniture golf place. Kids had a blast!

The "Toilet" hole attracted most of the attention...

The rest of the time we spent on water - fishing, swimming off the dock and boating...

None of us had any success with water skiis. Here }|{Eka is trying knee board...

                            going left....                                                                                     and going right...

Every night Stan treated us to some new wonderful wine, so by the end of the vacation we had quite a number of "dead soldiers"...

Happy faces :)

Would we recommend this place?
Absolutely! The house is great, location is awesome and if you are looking for some secluded gateway - this is perfect!
Would we have done something differently?
Well... I'd learn more about the area in advance - it turned out that there was a small 9 hole golf near by which we didn't know about. Also I would have taken bikes.

We are definetely coming back if not next year then the year after!
