Heidelberg

Originally we were planning to stay in Stuttgart, but then I decided to make a romantic adventure and see Heidelberg instead. And we were not dissapointed. I'm going to skip my own description this time, you can read more about this wonderful place here.

Heidelberg castle actually consists of several impressive buildings, located up in the hills. You can walk there or take a train.

We stayed in Hirschgasse Hotel, it's a Bed and Breakfast, in a small "Rose" suite... personally we think that they abused the rose theme a bit, but other than the room decor it was almost perfect. And the dinner was... AMAZING! Wine selection was also great.
